Coach Patzig commenced his softball coaching career nine years ago, while simultaneously pursuing his professional softball career. Having played at the highest level for a decade, winning five world championships with multiple teams, he retired and directed his energies toward the youth fastpitch community in our locality. He is widely regarded as one of the top hitting coaches, whose success is attributed to the hard-working nature of his players.
Having contributed to several programs, Coach Patzig made the decision to assist in building Destin High School into a powerhouse, with the goal of winning numerous state championships and bringing glory to our city.
