After her time in Guam, Saleena returned to South Carolina to play on the AVP grass and beach tour. She continued coaching in the community through both volleyball camps and private lessons. Soon after her return, she also joined the coaching staff of Mauldin High School to help a talented girls’ indoor squad win a 5A state championship title. Many of the girls on the team also achieved all-state and all-region, and one player earned a spot on the Under Armour All-American team.
