Destin High School Volleyball Celebrates Winning Season, Eyes Postseason Success
DESTIN, Fla. — Destin High School’s varsity volleyball team finished the regular season with an impressive 11–6 record and enters the postseason as the district’s No. 1 seed following an undefeated 2–0 district performance.
Currently ranked No. 25 in Class 2A and No. 147 among 789 schools statewide, the Sharks have built momentum as they prepare to contend for a berth in the Class 2A state playoffs.
Under Coach Fasula’s leadership, the team’s success reflects a season of hard work, growth, and contributions across the roster.
“I’m proud of the way this team has worked, grown, and competed together,” said Coach Fasula. “Every player has contributed to our success, and we’re excited to carry that momentum into the postseason.”
Leading the Sharks’ attack is Kenzi Prosser, a Division I commit to The Citadel, who has recorded 234 kills and 193 digs this season. Victoria Silva, with 80 kills, and Isabella Volpe, with 70 kills, have also provided strong offensive support.
“Congratulations to Coach Fasula and our entire volleyball team on an amazing season,” said Dr. Donald Williams, Jr., Executive Director of Destin High School. “These student-athletes have represented our school with determination, teamwork, and pride. We are proud of everything they have accomplished and excited to cheer them on as they pursue postseason success.”
