FortifyFL Parent/Guardian Training Tool

All Florida school districts and charter schools are required to provide training to their parents/guardians on FortifyFL.  This training must be made available at the beginning of the school year or at the time of enrollment.

Some of our valued member schools have notified us that they do not have access to their school district’s parent/guardian FortifyFL training.  To support those members, FCPCS has created a PowerPoint presentation specially developed to be used as a Parent/Guardian FortifyFL training tool.  This training includes important information about FortifyFL, how to submit a FortifyFL tip, and the potential consequences if a student communicates a threat or submits a false report, and is aligned with the state requirements for parent training.

Member schools can post the training tool on their website and should notify parents of the training requirement in accordance with Rule 6A-1.0018, F.A.C.
