Curriculum

Programs You Won't Find Anywhere Else on the Emerald Coast

At Destin High School, your student doesn’t have to specialize too early. Explore multiple passions, earn college credit, and graduate ready for whatever comes next.

Our small size means they can explore pathways to find their future career. Students can pursue careers in commercial fishing, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, and the arts in the same four years while building the kind of relationships with teachers and classmates that can only happen when everyone knows your name.

Our exceptional faculty, coaches, and administrators know your student’s name, their goals, and what they are capable of often before your student does. With small class sizes, real life experiences, and a faculty that genuinely invests in this community, Destin High School prepares students for college, careers, and the kind of life that is uniquely theirs.

Meet Our Team >>>

Our campus sits in the heart of Destin where the Gulf and Choctawatchee Bay aren’t just backdrops. They serve as classrooms. Students research real water quality issues, work with local conservations and industries, and engage with an environment that can’t be replicated anywhere else. This is place-based learning that actually means something to our students and our community.
