🍎 A Special Thank You to Maschio’s Food Services! 💙🦈

Destin High School is incredibly grateful to our lunch program provider, Maschio’s Food Services, for their continued partnership and commitment to our students.

This year, Maschio’s presented Destin High School with a generous $2,500 donation to help offset the costs associated with providing free and reduced-price lunches to students who need assistance.

DHS operates a little differently from many public schools. Destin High School is not part of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP); we operate a private lunch program. Even so, we believe something very strongly: no student should have to go through the school day without access to lunch because of their family’s financial circumstances.

That is why DHS budgets funds each year to ensure that ALL of our students have access to lunch every school day, including students who would otherwise qualify for free or reduced-price meals.

Maschio’s $2,500 contribution directly supports that commitment and helps us continue taking care of our students. This is what a true school-community partnership looks like - an organization recognizing a need and stepping forward to help us meet it.

To the entire Maschio’s Food Services team: THANK YOU! Thank you not only for feeding our Sharks each day, but for recognizing that serving students goes far beyond what is on the lunch tray. Your generosity helps us make certain every student is cared for, supported, and ready to learn.
