Senior Parents - Just a reminder that Senior Cap and Gown pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, February 6th. Caps and Gowns will be provided. There will be no makeup day for these individual pictures. If your senior is not on campus, please have them come to the auditorium at 8:45 and no later than 11:30 to assure they see the photographer.

Autism Awareness Day April 2nd marks a significant day on the calendar, not just for Destin High School, but for communities worldwide – it's Autism Awareness Day. At Destin High, we believe in fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and celebrated for who they are. Annual Fundraiser and Garage Sale at Half Hitch On April 6th, Destin High School will be hosting its annual fundraiser and garage sale at Half Hitch(halfhitch.com), 621 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541 from 7 AM to 2 PM. Our goal remains steadfast: to raise $10,000, with Alex Fogg (the Okaloosa County Reef Coordinator) and the county generously matching the amount to build another 10 High School Fishing reefs. CLT - Classic Leaning Test (Similar to SAT & can be used for college entrance & for FSA graduation requirements) CLT Practice Exam Link

We will be administering the Classic Learning Test (CLT) on April 24th at 8am. This College Entrance test is similar to the SAT & ACT. The scores can also be used as concordant scores for the FSA-ELA & Algebra I EOC. The fee for the test is $30. Juniors and seniors - prom tickets are on sale now! Tickets can be purchases via GiveSmart. Link can be access through the QR code on the flyers or on the student council instagram. Tickets are $50 from now till March 24th then the price goes up! Any junior or senior wishing to bring a guest from another school or from a lower grade must fill out a guest pass application and return it to Mrs. Ruppel by May 6th. Guest Pass applications can be found outside Mrs. Ruppel's door D208.

Dual Enrollment Informational Session for parents and students: On August 29, 2024, a representative from Northwest Florida State College will be coming to speak to current and potential future students taking dual enrollment classes. They are discussing the new registration process for students signing up for spring 2024 classes at NWFSC. Please join us from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Destin High School Auditorium.
